Government Day is the Rotary Club of Brunswick's annual event where local government officials can interact with community members, as well as Brunswick middle and high school students.It's getting close: Get a start on your Christmas shopping when the Brunswick Eagles Ladies Auxiliary hosts "Ladies Night Out" at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at the Eagles Clubhouse, 349 Pearl Road. Crafters and vendors will be available for some shopping fun. Complimentary wine and cheese will be served. The event is open to the public.They are stargazers: Corey Thiergartner and Jared Metz of Medina are members of Ashland University's Astronomy Club. Thiergartner is majoring in environmental science and is a 2017 graduate of Buckeye High School. Metz is majoring in integrated social studies. Metz is a 2018 graduate of Medina High School.Celebrating eight years: Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) will celebrate its eighth year with an evening of music, food and celebration at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at The Corkscrew Saloon, 811 W. Liberty St, Medina. The event, open to the public, will feature Wadsworth-based guitarist/vocalist David Zuder playing original tunes.
